Some 1/1 people find the formal reunions every two years too far apart. Memorial Day and Veteran's Day will find 1/1ers in Washington, D.C. at The Wall. There may only be a few, but they will be there. Look for Red Covers that say '1st Bn, 1st Marines' across the front. Our guys usually hang around the benches near the Three Soldiers statue. As a group, we present a 1/1 wreath during the formal ceremonies at the wall.
