This picture was taken in NSA hospital, Danang, Jan,69
with Jimmy Stewart the actor. He was visiting his son who was an officer
in the Marine Corps up north. Him and his wife visited all the hospital to
see the wounded. He was a Brigadier General in the Air Force Reserve at
the time.
This is a Marine Corps Brig.Gen.pinning my second purple
heart on me at NSA Hospital Danang. I mailed this picture home to my
girlfriend at the time. She just gave it back to me a couple years ago. |
